Cookie Policy

What we set, why, and how to change your mind.

What this policy covers

This policy explains how Interlink Digital Group Limited ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on interlink.digital, including the Interlink Digital Screens pages under /padel. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. Our other platforms (for example LinkCentre, Happily Hosted or Cookiewise) publish their own cookie information on their own sites.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Cookies let a site remember things between pages or visits: that you are signed in, what you put in a form, or what you chose when a consent banner appeared. Some are set by us ("first-party"); others are set by services we embed ("third-party").

How consent works here

We manage consent with Cookiewise, our own cookie compliance platform. When you first visit, a banner asks which categories you are happy with. Strictly necessary cookies are set regardless because the site cannot work without them; everything else waits for your choice. You can reopen the banner at any time to change or withdraw consent, and your choice itself is stored in a cookie so we do not ask on every page.

The cookies we use

Strictly necessary

These keep the site working and secure. They do not track you across sites and cannot be switched off from the banner.

  • Session cookie (PHPSESSID) - set when you use a form on the site, such as Start your project, the website specification tool, the claim wizard, or an Interlink Digital Screens application or order. It holds a short-lived session identifier and the anti-forgery token that protects the form. It expires when you close your browser.
  • Consent preference - set by Cookiewise to remember the choices you made in the consent banner so we can honour them on later visits. Typically lasts up to 12 months.

Analytics

Where you agree to analytics, we may measure how the site is used - which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and how long they stay - so we can improve it. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you. Those analytics cookies are only set after you accept that category in the banner.

  • Menu stats (idg_vid) - a random identifier set when you use the menu, so we can see which items were chosen and whether the same visitor chose more than one. It does not contain your name, email or IP address, it is not shared with other sites, and it lasts up to 180 days. It is set whether or not you accept the analytics category, because otherwise the count would miss most visits.

Third-party embeds

A few pages embed content from other providers, which may set their own cookies when the embed loads:

  • Company Pulse - a company information widget on our About and Contact pages, served from companypulse.co.uk.
  • Google Fonts - the Inter typeface is loaded from Google's servers. Google Fonts does not set cookies, but your browser does send its IP address to Google to fetch the files.

Links marked with an external-link icon in our navigation take you to other sites we operate. Each of those sites has its own cookie policy.

Managing cookies

The simplest way is the consent banner: reopen it from the Cookiewise control on the page, or clear your cookies for interlink.digital and it will appear again on your next visit. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the help pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge explain how. If you block strictly necessary cookies, the forms on this site will not submit.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when the cookies we use change. The date at the top tells you when it was last revised.
