Questions
Common questions from clubs.
Will this change how members book courts?
Members continue to book, pay and check in on the systems you already use. The screen sits at reception or in the bar and carries club content and advertising.
What appears on the screen?
Your own promotions and notices, club information such as hours and events, and advertising from local businesses.
We already have a television. Can we use it?
Yes. Any smart television, media stick or laptop with a modern browser will do. We send a display link and set it up remotely. If you would rather we supply a screen, we do, and it becomes yours on installation.
How do we end the agreement?
Give at least 30 days’ written notice before the end of the 12-month term, or of any later 12-month period. We give the same notice. If neither of us does, it continues for a further 12 months. The screen stays with you. Our content stops.
Who decides what is advertised?
We sell and schedule the advertising. You have a veto. Competing venues of the same type within 10 miles are excluded, as is a standard list of categories. You can add Excluded Categories, Consent Categories and named sponsors on the order form. Everything else is emailed to you before it goes live.
When are we paid?
Quarterly in arrears, 10% of net advertising revenue collected from your site, with a statement. We issue self-billed invoices, so you do not need to invoice us. Your revenue share is exclusive of VAT. If your business is VAT-registered and you provide a valid VAT number, we will add VAT at the applicable rate.
Do you take data about our members?
The screen does not use facial recognition. If players enrol with us through the screen, we are the controller of that data. If we later take data from your booking platform, we process it as your processor under the schedule on the order form.
Is the £1,800 figure guaranteed?
It is the target for a site with 12 slots sold at the published entry rate. Actual share depends on what is sold and collected. The working is on the what-you-earn page. Figures are estimates.
